I was very impressed by the service I received from W3TL. Ben was prompt, professional and went the extra mile to ensure my concerns about some of the electrical installations in my new home were safe. I would certainly recommend W3TL and call on him again if I need an electrician in the future.

Ben installed my new tv including fitting the wall bracket and hanging it. He had to reconnect the aerial on the roof (the wires had been cut) and remove the satellite dish and associated wiring from the front of the house. A very professional job.

Fast response, arrived on-time, quickly established and remedied the fault and then proceeded with a full house wiring check. Courteous and professional Ben kept me appraised of progress during his visit and provided a full report by email. Would certainly use again.

Wtttl was commissioned to carry out an electrical-safety inspection of our Victorian-era property approximately 10 years after its renovation. The inspector was pleasant, professional and competent in his field. A few minor issues were identified, some that he fixed and one (a change in bathroom lighting to comply with safety regulations) that he waited a few days for me to carry out, then checked in order for our property to be attributed a safety certification report. A highly recommendable electrical engineer.

Called Ben to connect my new summer house with lights, sockets.
He turned up on time and connected the armoured cable to the new fuse board,earthing spike and lights and sockets. He was polite and very professional. He was very clean and tided up after himself and the price was not bad either.
Would recommend him to other people.

We called in Ben to do some electrical work for our house that’s being renovated. The old electrics were pretty bad and hazardous. He was able to get to the root of the issue and do various jobs for us which involved completely new sockets, smart switches and fuse box. He was punctual, professional, and very friendly. I would highly recommend him and have him back in the future.

It seems like a law of nature that if you’re lucky enough to find a really good tradesperson you’ll have to wait an age for them to visit, or they’ll charge a premium. More focussed on tools than texts, the communication side of things can also be a challenge.

Ben defies all this! Super-responsive, great communicator, very fair price – says what he’s going to do and then does it.

As a customer in a tradesperson’s hands to some extent you just have to have faith that they’ll do the right thing by you. Ben does exactly that. Highly recommended.

I would definitely use W3TL again, very quick response to my initial call. What was initially thought to be a simple repair, was a bit more complex but was sorted within in a couple of hours.

We asked Ben around recently as our new home was in need of some TLC and a complete rewire.

We explained to Ben what we wanted, and he came up with a great plan to make it all come together. He took the time to explain it all to us, and gave us lots of advice and reassurance on the best routes forward. He actively avoided upselling to me when I originally wanted a particular matte black socket, and gave me a lot of confidence in the job he quoted us for.

As we have a little toddler, and we are living in the house whilst we work on it, it was important to us that the house remained a safe space for the little one, and we needed to be able to work through our renovation in sections – Ben came up with a brilliant plan to do the rewire in phases, and has run everything he needs to continue to the other rooms ready for when we are able to get started in those sections.

Our 1 year old currently still needs a nap in the middle of the day and Ben was really patient and understanding with us, and made sure he did the chasing either side of her sleep, and the wiring during nap time to help keep the noise down (Thank you SO much Ben!!).

His work is REALLY tidy and his cable management is spot on. All the sockets and switches are perfectly aligned with each other, and the bonding afterwards has been applied really neatly so it will be super easy for us to get the walls ready for finishing.

We’ve already got a few more jobs lined up for him and were looking forward to getting Ben back in for phase two! 😊

Ben is exactly what you would hope for when dealing with a tradesperson. Clear and prompt communication, good value, very knowledgeable and on time. Literally nothing we could fault. We will definitely be calling on Ben for any future electrical work.

Ben was amazing, rang on Tuesday went to answer phone as he was on a job but got back to me within 1hour, then came round the same day to assess the problem and had it fixed the following day. He explained everything that needed doing and was happy to explain as he was doing it. Just brilliant.

Ben was absolutely brilliant, he kept me up to date as to when he would arrive, was polite and explained exactly what he was doing and why. The job turned out to be more than he was expecting (hooking up our underfloor heating but it also needed to be chased in) but it wasn’t a problem and did what I was hoping for, plus the house was spotless afterwards. We absolutely use again.

Ben responded to my call quickly and came to fix the socket the following day. He was on time and quickly solved the problem. He was very professional, I recommended Ben and would certainly call him again in the future!
