Electrician Service Charges
Service Rates
Hourly Rate: £144 (This includes the VAT @20% or £24)
My standard hourly rate for electrical work is £120 (excluding VAT). This includes a dedicated hour of professional service to address your electrical needs.
Quick Fix (Under 30 minutes): £96 (This includes the VAT @20% or £16)
For quick repairs or changeovers lasting less than 30 minutes, take advantage of my reduced rate at £80 (Excluding VAT). I understand that not every issue requires a full hour.
Extended Engagements and Projects
For larger works and projects likely to exceed more than half a day I’ll provide a quotation. Any project designs, schedules, and other documents required ahead of starting a project may incur an administration fee which is deductible from the final bill if you choose to proceed with the work.
What can you expect to pay
Electrical inspections: Starting from £275
This allows me to spend around 2 hours on site for an average 2-3 bedroom terraced house, produce the report, and have a chat with you if you need to explain what the report means and help you understand where you stand in terms of your electrical system.
Consumer unit changes: Starting from £800
Every consumer unit I fit comes with numerous benefits that are fitted as standard and are non-negotiable. These measures are above average and have been selected for your safety, convenience, and to ensure I can maintain my excellent service record. Once you have made the decision to replace the unit, let me deal with the rest.
Wiring to Kitchens and extensions: Starting from £1000
Kitchens and extensions are a significant investment in the improvement of your home, your electrical system installed during this project is critical to the longevity of the build. Lets get it right first time.

Rest assured, there are no extra charges for parking or tolls incurred during our service at your location. Any accessories needed to complete your repair will be detailed before being charged.
