As a time served electrician, I draw on the experience of faults, installation methods, and previous outcomes that really make the difference in the electrical work that I am engaged in. With a large proportion of my work being focused on the testing and inspection of existing wiring systems, I have seen most things that stop a wiring system from working and those that would see the system fail early.

In 2022 I published my book 'Broken Standards' to offer consumers an opportunity to learn about the policies and procedures that are in place to protect them against poor and dangerous working practises found in many the construction trades. The book has been well received by those who have read it and has highlighted many problems they hadn't foreseen.

I moved my family to Norfolk in March of 2022 settling in Thunder Lane in Norwich's town of Thorpe St Andrew. Formerly from Bexley in Kent, and with two toddlers, the decision to move away from London was motivated by the need to change the environment that my two girls would be growing up in.

I was made redundant from my contract work with UKPN just before Christmas 2022, it wasn't completely surprising but it did put me in a bit of a bind. Having started WTTTL Ltd to allow the network to pay me, I decided to make it a customer facing name, brand it as my own, and begin trading. What was first a gag of a company name 'Where There's Thunder There's Lightening' - a nod to my profession and my street name, is now my trading name and the origin of WTTTL and the W3TL image.
